Christopher Putala, Principal of Putala Strategies, LLC, is a lobbyist advising Fortune 100 companies and trade associations, focusing on matters of technology, telecommunications and competitiveness policy. His advocacy work targets U.S. Congress, with an emphasis on the Judiciary, Commerce and Appropriations Committees, the Executive Branch, Federal Communications Commission, Federal Trade Commission and other Independent Agencies.
Chris served as the Executive Vice President for Public Policy for a leading Internet service provider, from 2005 to 2007 and from 1998 to 2005 as Vice President for Congressional Relations at CTIA, the Wireless Trade Association. He served on the Obama-Biden Transition team as an agency review leader for the Executive Office of the President.
From 1989 to 1998, he served as senior staff on the Senate Judiciary Committee for Chairman Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Chris graduated from Bates College and received his master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
